The University of Belize Debate Club will be hosting a Guest Presentation entitled “Recognizing the Signs & Coping as a Victim of Abuse.” The Guest Speaker will be Ms. Diana Shaw Attorney-at-Law, of the Child Development Foundation. The presentation will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the UB Jaguar Auditorium. Please pass the word along to everyone you can. Not all abused people show physical marks. It’s the ones with the emotional and psychological scars that we should be looking out for with more scrutiny.
