No More Facebook

10 days ago or so we posted a few links on Facebook about the Julian Assange case and how it impacts Free Speech and Free journalism all over. We go kicked off while trying to make another post and had not been able to log back in.

After several attempts to get assistance via Twitter since you need to be logged into Facebook to get help, I finally get this screen that walks me through “verifying” who is FiWeBelize.

We are not uploading a picture to Facebook so we have to say goodbye on that platform except for the possible Auto Posting of articles made on the blog.

We are available on Twitter and Tumblr and as usual, we can always have a conversation here in the comments section.


We got several messages asking us about our Facebook account and wanted to note that we are no longer on that platform due to restriction and censorship of the freedom of speech and the move to strip anonymity from users and publishers.

As noted above, around May of this year we made several posts around the Assange case and other things that were happening around that time and we got our account taken down and then asking to provide photo proof to log back in as noted above. This is all that we see when we try to login or reset our account:
