Two people have been reported missing, and the police and worried family members are appealing to the general public for assistance in locating their loved ones. In the first, instance Roaring Creek resident Delvin Galvez, 38, disappeared a week ago.
According to police reports, Galvez left home in the company of a Hispanic man on Thursday, March 22 and has not been seen or heard from since. Delvin Galvez, also known as “Peelie” is of brown complexion and stands five feet four inches tall. He wears an afro hair style and has a tear drop tattoo below his right eye.
The Galvez family says they would like to received any kind of communication from their loved one, who they say is not known to be a harmful person.
Anyone with information that could assist the family in locating Delvin Galvez is asked to call telephone number 604-9888 or the nearest police station.
In the second case of a missing person, San Pedro police is appealing for assistance in locating fifteen year old Stephanie Mejia. Mejia, who is of Garifuna descent is a Standard Six student of the Holy Cross Primary School. She lives in the San Mateo area of San Pedro Town, and was last seen on Saturday night at the San Pedro Central Park.
Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Stephanie Mejia is asked to call 911 or the San Pedro police station at telephone number: 206-2022.
