The hidden force in global economics: sending money home

Last year there was huge debates about what Belizeans in the Diaspora do for the motherland and the people there. Someone asked in a Belizean newspaper “What have you done for me lately?” others pointed to other things, but mostly the concept was insinuating that the Diaspora doesn’t do much for the nation.
